Meet Blu, an analog being stuck in a digital world. Finding he doesn’t fit into the boxes he’s been placed, he breaks out on a journey to find himself. Join Blu as he erases the lines that once defined him.

The first in a series of six, Blu is facing the audience holding his precious gift in one hand and a balloon in the other. The golden gift represents the present he is ready to share with you. The balloon is his happiness, ready to burst at any moment. The rain cloud, the tears to come. And the crown above his head is his potential to conquer his biggest enemy, himself.

In number two, Blu has turned his back towards you, feeling punished for who he is rather than understood. He was being left behind. The magic blue pill made him feel more isolated than included. Feeling like lines had been drawn on his future, all he had to do was turn the pencil around and erase them all.

Blu is having a bad day. He has all the right equipment for a stormy day, but an unexpected current forces him to use his umbrella as a raft to stay afloat. Getting wet is better than drowning.

It's a good day and the sun is shining. Blu takes his dog for a walk, his reset button. His dog has always been there for him. Never judging, just there to comfort. He has helped Blu get through some difficult times. Having someone there for you is the best medicine, even if they aren't human.

Blu has found his passion. Expressing his emotions through his art helps him regulate and make sense of it all. His defiant stance expresses confidence, while his back is still towards those he's invited in. With his head held high he starts on this new path. Looking up to those who came before him.

Setting fire to the boxes that once held him in for so long is the only way out. Shedding parts of himself he doesn't like. He chooses to destroy his only protection that now seems more of a constraint. He's vulnerable, but stronger than ever.
